GENERAL QUESTIONS
Where are you based?
We are based at Unit 5 Spring Street Business Park, Bolton, BL3 6EJ. We serve clients across Greater Manchester and the North West.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we operate on a booking-only basis to ensure every vehicle receives the time and attention it deserves. A deposit is required to secure your slot.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
All our installations come with a comprehensive warranty covering both parts and labour. Specific warranty lengths vary by service.
Can I drop my car off and collect it later?
Yes, our facility is fully secure. You can drop your vehicle off in the morning and collect it once the work is completed.
WINDOW TINTING
What are the UK legal limits for window tinting?
By UK law, the front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through, and the front side windows must let at least 70% through. There are no legal restrictions on rear windows.
How long does it take to tint a car?
A full car tint typically takes between 2 to 4 hours depending on the vehicle size and complexity.
Can I roll my windows down immediately?
No, we advise keeping your windows rolled up for at least 48 to 72 hours after installation to allow the film to cure and adhere properly.
Will the tint bubble or peel over time?
We use premium 2-ply carbon and ceramic films that are guaranteed against bubbling, peeling, and fading when cared for correctly.
AMBIENT LIGHTING
Will there be any exposed wires?
No. Our installations are built to OEM standards. All wiring is seamlessly hidden behind door panels and trim for a factory-clean finish.
How do I control the lighting colours?
Our premium RGB systems are fully controlled via a dedicated smartphone app, allowing you to change colours, brightness, and lighting modes instantly.
Which areas of the car can be illuminated?
We typically install lighting in the door panels, dashboard, footwells, and centre console. We can customise the zones based on your specific vehicle.
Will this drain my car battery?
No, the LED systems draw very little power and are wired to switch off automatically when the vehicle is locked and powered down.
STARLIGHT HEADLINERS
How many stars do I need?
We typically recommend 300-500 stars for a subtle look, and 800+ for a dense, Rolls-Royce style galaxy effect.
Can I choose the colours?
Yes, our starlight systems feature full RGB control via a smartphone app, allowing you to choose any colour, adjust brightness, or set dynamic modes like twinkle or shooting star.
How long does the installation take?
Starlight installations are highly intricate and require removing the headliner. The process typically takes 1 to 2 full days depending on the star count.
VEHICLE WRAPPING
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
With proper care, a premium vinyl wrap can last between 3 to 5 years. We only use industry-leading materials to ensure longevity.
Will a wrap damage my original paint?
No, a wrap actually protects your OEM paint from UV rays, light scratches, and minor stone chips. When removed professionally, the paint underneath will look exactly as it did before.
Do I need to tell the DVLA if I wrap my car?
Yes, if you are doing a full colour change wrap, you must update your V5C logbook to reflect the new primary colour of the vehicle.
Can I wash my wrapped car normally?
We recommend hand washing with pH-neutral soap. Avoid automated car washes with harsh brushes, and never use a pressure washer too close to the edges of the vinyl.
BODY KITS & STYLING
Do you supply the kits or just fit them?
We can do both. We can source premium kits from trusted manufacturers, or we can professionally install a kit you have already purchased.
Do you paint the body kits?
Yes, we offer professional colour-matching and painting services to ensure your new kit blends seamlessly with your vehicle's factory paintwork.
How long does fitting take?
Yes, if you are doing a full colour change wrap, you must update your V5C logbook to reflect the new primary colour of the vehicle.
Can I wash my wrapped car normally?
We recommend hand washing with pH-neutral soap. Avoid automated car washes with harsh brushes, and never use a pressure washer too close to the edges of the vinyl.
3D & 4D NUMBER PLATES
Are 3D and 4D plates road legal in the UK?
Yes, provided they meet DVLA standards. Our plates use the correct Charles Wright font, correct spacing, and are fully BSAU 145e compliant and MOT friendly.
What is the difference between 3D and 4D?
3D plates use a polyurethane gel resin to create a smooth raised domed effect. 4D plates use precision laser-cut acrylic characters for a sharper, thicker, block-like appearance.
Do I need to bring my documents?
Yes, if you are doing a full colour change wrap, you must update your V5C logbook to reflect the new primary colour of the vehicle.
DE-CHROMING
What areas of the car can be de-chromed?
We can wrap almost any exterior chrome trim, including window surrounds, front grilles, badges, door handles, and exhaust tips.
What finishes are available?
3D plates use a polyurethane gel resin to create a smooth raised domed effect. 4D plates use precision laser-cut acrylic characters for a sharper, thicker, block-like appearance.
Is de-chroming permanent?
No, because we use premium vinyl wrap to cover the chrome, the process is 100% reversible. If you sell the car or change your mind, the wrap can be safely removed.
CARPLAY & STEERING WHEELS
Will an Apple CarPlay retrofit void my warranty?
No, our retrofits are plug-and-play systems that integrate with your factory screen and wiring harness without cutting or splicing, meaning your warranty remains intact.
Is the CarPlay wireless?
Yes, the majority of our retrofit modules support both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Can I keep my steering wheel airbag and buttons?
Yes, when we build a custom steering wheel, we transfer your original airbag, buttons, and paddle shifters over to the new core so all factory functions remain.
Can I design my own steering wheel?
Absolutely. You can choose the materials, stitching colour, 12 o'clock stripe, and even add an LED shift light display.
